We wouldn't like to say that no-one ever organises a better track day
than we do but we really do believe we are the best. That is a big claim
but ...
- We've been doing this for over eighteen years
- We really work at slick organisation so riders get minimum chaos
and maximum track time
- Our members are responsible so there are few "offs"
- There are a substantial number of regulars so you make friends and
meet them again and again
- We know that novices and new members are our life blood so we
really look after them - see the novices section
The days are not races. Most of the circuits ban racing except at
proper meetings. We don't allow it either. These are occasions when you
can ride your bike as fast as you feel comfortable in a non-competitive
environment where there is nothing coming the other way!
They allow you to hone high speed skills which could not safely (or
legally) be practised on the road.
All events, except where track limits prevent it (e.g. Castle Combe),
are split into three groups – advanced, intermediate and novice.
