Mark founded the Folly as Lawyers' Motorcycle Folly back in the late 1980s but couldn't find enough lawyers so had to move downmarket, letting in bankers, stockbrokers, accountants, doctors, etc.!

Recently Mark was elected President for life (he says that he was fired!). He collects old cars and bikes which hardly ever work and shares race Yamaha FZR600 with Geoff, which drops valves (but not when Mark is riding it). He's not bad at blagging rides, but not nearly so good as Geoff.

Mark also looks after booking the hotels and all sorts of things on the days.
