Season’s greetings and all that from the new “us” at MCF. New because
Peter has retired and we have two new volunteer officers: Jeff Brown and
Richard Morris.
As usual the real newsy update will be the “Spring Message” which
should come out in early February with all dates etc for next year.
For now just a taster…………
We have booked Castle Combe for Monday 18th April (and been
recommended a new hotel to stay in). Mallory is booked for 17th May and
23rd August and we’ve managed to get a noisy day at
Donington for 16th September. Hopeful of Oulton and Brands again and we might just squeeze
in Cadwell and Pembrey. Looking good……………… Final dates and prices in the
Spring Message.
Don’t forget you can reduce those prices and help us lots by using
the £1000er scheme:
Pay us £1,000 on or before the end of January to be used for circuit
deposits and you get 10% off all your bookings (made by you against that
advanced payment for you and your friends) and the balance back at the
end of the year—compare that with schemes being offered by the
commercial boys where its non-transferable and if you don’t spend it,
they keep it! If interested please let Ian Fox know on
email @ motorcyclefolly.co.uk or phone Justine on 08700 750950. If you use
all of it, that’s an incredible tax free interest rate on your
investment. (If £1000 seems too much then we would accept £500 and give
you 5% discount).
The other thing to remember is that we are a not for profit
organisation whose aim is for us all to experience true quality
trackdays in what we believe to be a unique social environment (or
that’s what you tell us). We cannot compete commercially with the big
boys and don’t want to but we will only survive with your support. If
you like the Folly and want it to continue then resolve to come to as
many days as you can in 2005 and go out there and persuade others to
come along too. Word of mouth is virtually our only publicity—spread the
word!
The Officers.
