We don't have too many rules and regulations, just a few guidelines that
we follow to make sure everyone enjoys their day.
Driving Licences
Please bear in mind that many circuits require the
PRODUCTION of a FULL CATEGORY A LICENCE, issued by the DVLA, when
signing on and will not let you ride without it. ACU or restricted
licences are not acceptable. Where applicable, at sign on you must show
your driving licence to a member of circuit staff and you will not be
allowed onto the track without having produced your licence. You should
not expect the circuits to phone the DVLA if you forget your licence -
there is no guarantee that they will do this. (If you have a new style
photo card licence, the paper counterpart will not be acceptable on its
own).
Other Circuit Rules
Some circuits do not permit black visors, most
don't allow sparky knee sliders and some (because of their neighbours)
have strict noise restrictions. If in doubt check with the circuit, if
still in doubt check with us.
Dangerous Riding
You should be aware that the Folly officers will be
circulating on the track days to observe other riders. If you are seen
to be riding irresponsibly or dangerously you will be "spoken to" - this
is to protect the safety of other riders. Please bear in mind that in
extreme cases we may, if we see appropriate, prevent you from riding on
the circuit and that you would not be entitled to a refund.
Intentionally overtaking less than one bike's width apart would be
regarded as irresponsible.
Testing and Timing
Testing and timing are not permitted on our trackdays by any of the
circuits.
Declaration and Indemnity
You will be required to sign an indemnity
on the day - to read a copy of it
